2024–2025 Outcomes

meaningful progress. measured throughout treatment.

At Galen Hope, we believe effective treatment should be compassionate, individualized, and informed by meaningful data. We use measurement-based care (MBC) to better understand each client’s experience, monitor progress over time, and help our treatment team make thoughtful adjustments throughout treatment.

2024–2025 outcomes show meaningful improvement in depression, anxiety, trauma, and eating disorder symptoms among clients included in our report.

“We built Galen Hope to be the program we would choose for someone we love most—where clients, families, and referring professionals become true partners in recovery. Our award-winning outcomes show what is possible when exceptional clinical care and genuine human connection ensure every person is seen, understood, & supported.”
Wendy Oliver-Pyatt, MD, FAED Co-Founder & CEO

how measurement-based care works

  1. Collect

    Clients complete standardized measures:

    • On the first day of admission
    • Monthly during PHP and IOP
    • Twice monthly during residential treatment
    • On the final day of treatment

Collecting information at several points allows the treatment team to evaluate how symptoms change over time.

  2. Act

The treatment team uses the results alongside clinical observations and ongoing conversations with the client and family to help guide treatment and make thoughtful adjustments when appropriate.

family engagement matters

Family Involvement is Associated with Better Outcomes

Our outcomes data show a positive pattern across measures, particularly eating disorder symptoms, among clients whose families participated in Family Days. Family participation may include parents, a spouse or partner, siblings, and/or close friends.
