Wendy Oliver-Pyatt, MD, is a world-leading expert on mental health and eating disorder
treatment who has founded several highly regarded treatment centers, including Galen Hope
in South Florida and Within Health. A board-certified psychiatrist with over 25 years of
experience, she is known for her innovative, humane, and dignity-enhancing approach to care.
Her unique treatment approach delves into the underlying issues that contribute to the
development of mental health conditions. By treating the whole person, Dr. Oliver-Pyatt
helps empower individuals with the skills, tools and support they need to heal physically,
mentally, and emotionally. Dr. Oliver-Pyatt received her specialty training at New York
University- Bellevue Hospital where she served as a Chief Resident. She has held faculty
positions at New York University, Albert Einstein School of Medicine, and University of
